Christmas Eve present guide

A festive guide to Christmas eve presents

Christmas Eve present guide It is now less than a month until Christmas and half the people we know already seem to have got their lights, tree and decorations up. The advent calendars are slowly going off the shelves (I’m waiting until 1 December to get a few pounds off…) and so we are looking at buying those last few presents. These include Christmas Eve presents. It seems there is split opinion on Christmas Eve presents - some people love them and do them as part of a regular Christmas edition, some European friends also do most presents on Christmas Eve and other people completely scoff at the idea. They say isn’t that the point of Christmas Day, and it is just extending the commercial side of Christmas. I completely get that, however, I also have a toddler and get very excited by giving him presents and seeing his little face light up. They don’t have to be big, and in fact could be something small that even focuses on what Christmas is about. Whatever your feeling about Christmas Eve presents, we have some gift ideas to get you thinking. Pyjamas Get the excitement started by going to bed feeling all Christmassy and waking up already dressed for the occasion.
